Our Lady of Lourdes refers to the Blessed Virgin Mary's appearances to St. Bernadette Soubirous in 1858 in Lourdes, France. Mary appeared 18 times in a grotto, identifying herself as the Immaculate Conception. During the apparitions, she called for prayer, penance, and the building of a chapel at the site.

A spring of water discovered there soon became associated with miraculous healings, and Lourdes has since become one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in the world. Our Lady of Lourdes is especially invoked for healing and comfort in suffering. Her feast day is celebrated on February 11.
