Carlo Acutis (3 May 1991 – 12 October 2006) was an Italian Catholic teenager who is best known for documenting Eucharistic miracles around the world and cataloging them all onto a website he created before his death from leukemia at the age of 15. Acutis was deeply religious from a young age, showing an uncommon fervor for the Eucharist and an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. His life, though short, was marked by a profound witness to the Catholic faith, including acts of kindness, a deep devotion to the Blessed Sacrament, and a keen interest in computer technology, which he utilized to evangelize and spread devotion. Acutis was beatified on 10 October 2020, making him the first millennial to be put on the path to sainthood by the Catholic Church. His beatification recognizes him as being in heaven and able to intercede for those who pray in his name, and it marks him as a model of holiness, especially for young people and those in the digital age.
